KANEKA BELGIUM N.V. ACCELERATES RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN PHOTOVOLTAIC TECHNOLOGY
At the moment around 275 employees are working at Kaneka Belgium N.V. which is an affiliate of Kaneka Corporation (consolidated group approx. 7,500 employees), a very successful and profitable Japanese company with a broad product range. Kaneka Belgium N.V. exists for more than 30 years and is located at Westerlo (Belgium). The company develops, produces and sells chemical products for the construction, automotive and adhesive industries.
To expand the European activities of Kaneka on solar cells, Kaneka Belgium N.V. has recently set up a research center for photovoltaic technology. Together with the Japanese R&D center and IMEC as a Belgian partner, the new research activities are focusing on silicon-solar cell technology. Kaneka is recognized world-wide as a specialist in developing and producing high efficiency thin film silicon-solar cells.
To strengthen its research center for photovoltaic technology, Kaneka is looking for:- U werkt samen met ervaren Kaneka onderzoekers om de efficiëntie van dunne film silicium zonnecellen te verbeteren
- U voert innovatief onderzoek op silicium zonnecellen in samenwerking met gevestigde IMEC laboratoria in Europa.
- U heeft een master opleiding of doktoraat met een diepgaande kennis van halfgeleiders en bij voorkeur ervaring in kristalijne silicium zonnecellen.
- U heeft een bewezen ervaring in R&D binnen de PV technologie.
- U bent gepassioneerd door het onderzoek met betrekking tot hernieuwbare energie en zonne-energie systemen.
